A big thank you to all at Willesley Park for making my first visit a truly enjoyable one. From a very helpful pro shop to the greenkeeping team for course presentation and smooth, true, good paced greens.  Also, friendly staff and members in and around the clubhouse area.  Top marks 10 out of 10.

May I thank everyone connected with Willesley Park who made our visit last Friday so enjoyable.

After all the rain we’ve witnessed over the last fortnight the course was in superb condition and credit must go to the Head Greenkeeper and his team. The service provided on the catering front was also of high quality and thanks to Julie and the rest of the team for serving our needs throughout the day. Also how nice it was to see two of the Club Directors come and welcome us prior to our round, not often you receive a nice touch like that.

Last but no means least to Spencer and yourself for arranging and making sure our day ran so smoothly.

In concluding pass on our thanks to one and all and wish everyone connected at Willesley Park all the best for the remainder of 2019.

On behalf of President Sheila and members/guests of the RC of Ashby Castle can I thank you for Saturday night, the food was excellent and I think that is not doing it justice. The chefs were excellent and very obliging, sorting out the diabetics and also the one guest who was diabetic and lactose intolerant.  This one I was not told about but it was all sorted

Our Molly was brilliant in facilitating the whole evening and making sure the food service and bar were run efficiently, first class personality evening singing some of the ABBA numbers at the end whilst working

I wanted to record my thanks to everyone at Willesley Park for hosting the Midlands North Girls Championship last week.

It was a very successful day, with lots of excellent comments not only about the beautiful Golf course, but the welcome and helpfulness of all your staff and volunteers.

Whilst I don’t usually like to pick out individuals, I feel in this instance I would like to particularly place on record my grateful thanks to Spencer who was brilliant both before and on the day, Lynne, your catering manager, again for her support and help both before and on the day – even staying for an extra hour to give us a first aider until close of play.

When I came into the clubhouse early in the morning the Lady who was cleaning the lounge was brilliant, she had a cheery smile and helped me move some tables around, nothing was too much trouble.

Finally, may I wish you all success in your Centenary Year next year.
